Me after I've just been in the sea

Calm blue sea, pebbly coves. I had 10 days of that. Luxury. After visiting Barcelona we stayed at a camp-site near the Spanish border. It was amazing, our tent was at the top of some steps and at the bottom was a private cove.So it was tempting to go in the sea. It was surprisingly warm so we were in it at 9.30 at night once. The sea was good for snorkelling – I saw a variety of fish. And once we went to a place that has a little trail for snorkelling which had lots of fish. Some were quite big.

You could see from our campsite there were two towns, one called Collioure and the other called Argeles. Collioure was particularly nice, and we went to the night market there one evening.

So overall it was a really nice holiday. My favourite bit was swimming in the sea and relaxing on the beach.

Hola Barcelona!

I bought this cool hat in Barcelona!

im in barcelona at the moment, enjoying the fresh air from our balcony. Today we walked through the city (well, I went in my wheelchair) and saw lots of shops and market stalls. I got a hat and bracelets for me and my friends. When we were at a market stall earlier, a spanish man gave my mum a china doll for me. Random! But it has been really good and I will be sad to leave tomorrow but not too sad as were going camping near the beach in france.

A birthday

On Wednesday it is my dads birthday.

We celebrated it today though, because he has to go to work quite early and me and mum will be in hospital. We gave him presents:T shirt, chocolate, CD, books and another CD and tickets for a concert!

About my family

I have one brother (Jacob) and one sister (Maddy) and they are both older than me.  Maddy is 10 and Jacob is 12.  Even though we are all brothers and sisters, I am small and they are tall.  That’s because my mum and dad are both tall, so if I didn’t have a form of dwarfism I would be quite tall.

I’ll miss them when I go into hospital (though I won’t miss my brother that much because he is quite annoying).  Today I wrote a fact sheet about Maddy because it was ‘Write what you like’ week at school. I wrote that she didn’t come from Earth, maybe Mars Jupiter or even the Milky Way. But I put, ‘I understand where she got her name from – mad, definitely’!  I also put, ‘So overall my sister is cool.’
